Kevin Wade speaks about the
Continuing Resolution
NEW CASTLE, DE – Kevin Wade, Delaware’s GOP
nominee for the United States Senate, today
spoke about the U.S. Congress’ Continuing
Resolution passage.
“Under the law, the U.S. Senate is required, not
‘requested,’ but
required,
to pass a budget. They have not done so in 3
years. This is disgraceful and the American
people ought not to tolerate it,” Wade said.
“The Senate, under career politicians’ control,
still has not passed a budget, our national
‘shopping list’ of essential spending
priorities. Instead, this resolution is more of
the same on the road to financial ruin,” Wade
said.
“My opponent is still focused on dead-end
projects like Fisker, bicycle paths and windmill
farms. Americans need real jobs and commonsense
solutions to the problems caused by life-long
career politicians,” he concluded.
Kevin Wade is the founder and president of
Philadelphia Control Systems, Inc., a
Christiana, DE automation engineering firm. The
Delaware Republican Party nominated Wade to run
for the U.S. Senate against incumbent Tom Carper
(D-DE) at the Party's convention in April.
